Micellar Water? Bioderma comes first to mind

I’m one of those people who use an eye makeup remover. In the past, I’ve tried using a cleansing balm on the eye area and it didn’t go well. I made a decision to just use a separate makeup remover that would be gentle on my sensitive eyes because I use mascara heavily.

Why do you need it?

Bioderma is a trusted brand and you can’t go wrong with french pharmacies (at least IMHO). You just have to choose according to your skin type/concern/need. In this case, it’s their Bioderma Sensibio H2O micellar water which is highly rated in the beauty community. This is perfect for those who have sensitive eyes like mine, it’s fragrance-free and it removes all types of makeup like nobody’s business; although it struggles a bit with waterproof mascara, it’s not an issue for me because I take my time.

To explain further, I take my time in removing my makeup, especially in the eyes, without fail! You don’t need to rub or tug the eyes because the skin in this area is delicate and thinner than the rest of the face. I believe that if I take my time putting makeup, I should also have the time to take it all off and not be lazy about it.

How do you use it?

I use 2 cotton pads and 1-2 cotton buds to remove my eye makeup. First, I soak 1 cotton pad on each eye and let it sit for a few minutes. Once you wipe it off, there will be a few spots of mascara left on the lashes and this part is where I use the cotton buds. If I use a waterproof mascara, sometimes I end up using 2.

PRICE: MYR 46 for a 100ml size. There's usually a bundle offer promo.

AVAILABILITY: Guardian, Watsons, Hermo.  Check your local pharmacy near you.

Have you tried using Bioderma?

I only purchased a small one because it’s only for the eyes. Oh! I forgot, I also use it on the lips too to remove lipstick/lipgloss. If you can get past the price, this is lovely; If you find an alternative that a little cheaper, let me know.
